Just outside of Seattle, Washington, Katie & Jason were married in the middle of an enchanted forest filled with the most magical treehouses. This unique place is called Treehouse Point and it's even cooler than you'd imagine. Surrounded by some of their closest family and friends, these junior high sweethearts finally made it official.

The deep forest greens were the perfect backdrop for the soft pastels that filled the days décor. Lush blooms provided by Moonchild Floral Co stopped us in our tracks upon arrival. Katie wore the most amazing Galia Lahav gown. This dress fit her like a glove and she truly looked like a princess. Her girls wore a mix of blush dresses filled with florals, sequins, and lace. The groom and his fellas looked dapper as ever in their navy suits from Menguin. This crew of friends/family weren’t just the couple’s “wedding party,”…they are lifelong members of this couple’s love story. Fun fact: all of the bridesmaids have been in each other’s weddings over the years and even have a hilarious ritual dance they do, while circling the new groom, to “Bohemian Rhapsody” during every reception.

With both Katie & Jason being from Arizona and having such a long courtship, they knew they wanted an intimate destination wedding. They filled the entire wedding weekend with fun group activities that all guests were invited to attend. Such activities as a wine tour train ride, delicious family style Italian meals, and a beautiful “day-after-the-wedding” brunch. There isn’t a guest who attended this weekend that will ever forget how truly loved Katie & Jason made each one of them feel.

While almost all of the most important people to this couple were in attendance, there were two very important faces missing. Both Katie’s father and Jason’s mother are deceased, but the day was filled with many memorable moments dedicated to them. The groom and his brother had a quiet moment together before the festivities of the big day began and were able to spread their mother’s ashes among the trees. The groom also wore his mother’s wedding ring attached to his boutonniere. The bride was walked down the aisle by her younger brother while photo charms of her father hung from her perfect bouquet. She later shared a dance with her brother during the reception to a song dedicated to their father. It was an emotional day for all but seeing all the ways this couple shared the day with those who couldn’t be there with them, was truly something special.

Even though it was a day centered around Katie & Jason, they didn’t once make the day about themselves. They were so grateful for those who traveled from afar to celebrate with them and were beyond gracious to their entire vendor team who helped make the day possible. It was a stunning wedding filled with so much love, joy, and all the happiness in the world.
