Romantic Scottsdale Engagement Session: Brittany & Nick

We've known Brittany & Nick for awhile now...so you can imagine our excitement when they asked us to be a part of planning their special day.  They are getting married THIS WEEK at the Omni Montelucia in Paradise Valley.  We've got an amazing lineup of vendors that will help make this wedding a sure showstopper.  We CAN'T wait to show you the details...but until then, enjoy their romantic engagement story told by the bride below, and a few of their stunning engagement photos taken by the beautiful Marisa Belle Photography.

P.S.- Make sure you check out her GORGEOUS engagement ring!  Way to go Nick!  ;)

"Nick and I were driving to California from Phoenix to visit my family and friends. While driving through Los Angeles, Nick handed me a card that said we were going to celebrate my birthday early (two months early to be exact). He told me we would be staying the Cliffs Hotel in Pismo Beach that night and going on a winery tour the next day. Fast forward to the next morning, we took a long walk along the beach and went back to our hotel room to get ready. Nick started getting ready two hours before we had to leave which was very unusual. When I asked him why he was getting ready even before I did he told me that he was “on vacation and just wanted to relax before wine tasting.” Little did I know, he wanted to get ready first so that he could put the ring box in his socks. It was the only place he could keep it on him that I wouldn’t notice. While in the shower I joked that he was being too quiet and that usually meant he was up to no good! When we were both ready we called our Uber. Unfortunately, there was horrible traffic and our Uber also got lost. I noticed Nick was texting a lot and trying to turn his phone away from me. I asked him who he was texting so much and he said our wine tour guide. We finally arrived at the winery, Edna Valley Vineyards, and went on a great private wine tour. At the end of our tour, our tour guide Katie, suggested we go out to the vineyard to taste some of the grapes that were almost ready for harvest. While tasting the grapes, Katie said she had to take a phone call and would be right back. That’s when Nick turned me around, told me that I meant everything in the world to him, got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him. We took a little time to soak it all in and the photographer he had hired to capture our special moment took a few snapshots. As we headed up the hill back to the tasting room, I asked him if my mom was in town as I knew we would be meeting up with my family later. He said that she had to work and we would see her later in the week. But as we got to the top of the hill I saw all of my family, including my mom, waiting to celebrate with us! The surprises didn’t end there. Nick had the next week totally planned out. We spent two more nights in San Luis Obispo, then drove up the coast to Carmel and stayed in a suite overlooking the ocean. A few hours after our arrival in Carmel, I got another surprise. Nicks two sisters and their husbands had flown in from the East Coast to celebrate with us! The rest of our trip was filled with more amazing visits with my family and friends. Nick spent months planning our engagement and made it more special that I could have ever imagined. It was a time I will never forget. "
