Arizona Geometric Floral Invasion Styled Shoot Featured on 100 Layer Cake
Ok, I'm going to be SUPER honest here. This styled shoot should have been shared with all of you a looooooooong time ago. We LOVED this shoot, the dream team of vendors, our beautiful "bride," and at the time, this new rad venue called, The Paseo. The Paseo has now become one of the hottest spots in Arizona (no pun intended) to get married and rumor has it, their dates are booking up faster and faster each year!! They've got incredible views of The Superstition Mountains that are killer at sunset. The venue is basically a blank space so really any kind of color palette, theme, desired feel, etc...works here.
We worked hand in hand with Erica from Erica Velasco Photography dreaming up this shoot. Our goal was to embrace the desert while having some fun with florals. We wanted the Arizona sunsets to be our color palette. Malori with Hoot & Holler really came through on this. She is such a talent and loves having freedom to be creative with her floral design. And trust us- just let her do her thang! She's a boss.
The uber talented ladies behind Idieh Design & aBakeshop both brought their hand painted talents to this shoot. Heidi painted the most gorgeous invitation suite, menu, and place cards. The colors were so vibrant and the fun shapes made these paper goods feel extra custom. Andrea & her team blew us away and painted a fun, colorful 2-tiered cake that matched the paper. These ladies killed it and we were so lucky to have them as part of this.
Kennedy, our beautiful bride, is such a natural beauty. Our goal was to keep her looking fresh and simplistic when it came to hair & makeup. Ideal Bridal was the perfect artist to make this happen. Monica is one of the best when it comes to very natural looking hair & makeup. Kennedy looked flawless. She wore a dress provided by Bella Lilly Bridal, located in Glendale. This stunning dress is by Watters.
The rentals for this shoot came from several different vendors. The gold geometric shapes, dinnerware, and flatware were all from CB2. The benches used for our ceremony setup, as well as the super unique cake table, were provided by Tremaine Ranch. The reception table & chairs were all courtesy of Event Rents. And finally, the linens and glassware were from Classic Party Rentals. We loved getting to incorporate all of these items from these amazing companies in order to achieve our desired look. Getting such a talented group of vendors together for shoots like this, make our job easy and fun! There are SO many creative people in this industry and we feel lucky to be surrounded by all of them daily.
