Talk about a wedding we will NEVER forget!!… Rachel and Brenton came to us requesting our favorite thing: one of the most non-traditional weddings we’ve ever planned. Everything from the moody colors, to Rachel’s PINK wedding gown (w/ a killer matching cape), to the elaborate custom build-outs and the endless personal details. Not a single thing was overlooked when it came to mapping out just how we planned to make this a one-of-a-kind event that their guests were sure to remember forever.

R & B (lol) got married at JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn… an award winning resort located near the base of Camelback Mountain. This iconic property was recently renovated and has views for days. The overall resort design leans more desert than modern so we knew we had to meet somewhere in the middle to create a cohesive design with what was already there. Rachel knew she liked pampas grass but we opted to make it a bit funkier by adding in some black and pink pampas mixed with the more common, tan pampas grass. This was used throughtout the event, even down to Rachel’s bouquet. My personal favorite part of the design, however, was the mix matched tables at the reception. The emerald green glassware made each table design pop.

Rachel was def the star of the show in her unique and ethereal look, but Brenton wasn’t far behind. He had a custom evergreen velvet jacket made for the wedding and in-person…this shit was SHARP AF (can’t see the insane details in the photos below…but trust us, it was yummy)! The pink paisley liner to match Rachel’s dress was the perfect surprise come their First Look.

These cuties and their crew partied all night long. The guests were even treated to a churro bar and a surprise sax player during the dance party!!!

Rachel & Brenton- thank you for including us, trusting us, and letting me brainstorm all the crazy and creative ideas. It was so fun to plan with such an easy-going, excited couple.
