Dapper Salt Lake City Styled Engagement Shoot: Parker & Alex
Alex & Parker were married this past summer at the most beautiful backyard wedding in the mountains of Utah. A couple months prior to the wedding, they did their engagement photos in downtown Salt Lake City with Michael Cozzens Photography at Miesh. Michael is a very talented destination photographer that offers unique stylized engagement sessions to his couples (he also happens to be one of our most fav humans EVER). For this one, he reached out to us to see if we could help style the studio for the guys’ photos.
A & P had plans to wear their incredible blue wedding suits, but otherwise decided to keep it fairly neutral in terms of their attire. MKA Design brought her killer floral talents and created the softest, yet masculine designs for the guys. We moved the arrangement & installation around the room to give us different backdrops on the different colored/textured walls of the studio. The end product was even better than we could have imagined. For the table, we kept it simple with clean lines and minimal detail. Clear, thick cut, acrylic menus with a white wax seal from Freed Hands helped to complete the elevated look. Fun fact: besides the menus, we were able to put together the rest of the table design with items from our home.
These cuties knew how to work it in front of the camera and they were such a joy to be around. They also do a bunch of incredible work for the local LGBTQ community around SLC which we love and are grateful for. The LGBTQ youth in Utah need all the help we can give them…so keep it up boys. We admire all of your hard work and appreciate you leading by example. Congrats on your marriage (and that cute new frenchie), Alex & Parker!
