Kellye & Trevor were married this past New Year’s Eve in Chandler, Arizona at SoHo63. It was said to be one of the “coldest and wettest NYE” in like 25 years!!! (2 words usually not used to describe Arizona weather… that’s for sure). But these two didn’t let the weather ruin their special day. Instead, they embraced it, we moved the ceremony inside, and they still had their first NYE kiss as husband and wife when the clock struck midnight.

We started planning and designing with K& T many months prior to their wedding day. Kellye knew she wanted the bridesmaids in burgundy velvet dresses and Trevor knew he wanted to wear his sweet evergreen velvet Vans. So, we took those ideas and ran with it. Lucky for us, BBJ came out with some fabulous velvet linens last year. We knew that was where we needed to start. I wouldn’t say Kellye & Trevor had a “black tie” wedding, but everything is fancier on NYE, right? The combo of black velvet linens with evergreen velvet napkins was just what the night needed in order to step up the overall look and feel of their event. And what better way to celebrate than with balloons. Tremaine Events recently added balloon installations to their lists of talents and we just knew we needed to use them for that. We had them create several balloon garlands using some of the wedding colors and different sized balloons. Needless to say, we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. We also decided to get creative with our table setup and numbers. We made 4 large “X” tables in their reception using a combo of 8 foot tables and low boy cocktail tables. We then used big round balloons with table numbers written on them to differentiate the 4 tables. This made their reception feel super unique and also allowed for a larger dance floor. This group sure knew how to have a good time…and all of it was captured perfectly by Ball Photo Co.

K&T- thank you for allowing us to play a part in your most special day ever. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Campbell’s. We miss getting to talk every day but can’t wait to see you again soon. XOXO
