A Southwestern-Inspired Wedding at Rancho de los Caballeros: Cecily & Nick

You may recognize Cecily & Nick from their San Francisco Zoom Wedding previously posted on our blog.  These cuties were another one of our very patient pandemic couples.  They too were forced to postpone their original Arizona wedding several times.

C & N had big dreams to wed at Rancho de los Caballeros in Wickenburg, AZ- a place Cecily had been going with her family since she was a child.  In order to keep these dreams alive, it was imperative that we waited until there was a bit more certainty around keeping everyone happy and healthy as every single guest would be traveling in order to attend this destination wedding.  That became even more true as the big day finally approached because Cecily was going to be 8 months pregnant with the couple’s little girl come wedding day.

Now, let me tell you….some might imagine that not being an ideal situation (especially after waiting an additional 2 years to celebrate), but being almost full term with her first child, DID NOT slow Cecily down one bit.  She enjoyed the day exactly as she would have on their original date.  Not only that, but she wore her original wedding dress, with just a few modifications (thanks Sarah Seven) and she tore up that dance floor ALL. NIGHT. LONG!  Instead of exchanging vows [again] at their ceremony, the couple opted to write vows to their unborn daughter, Willa, and let’s just say- there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience.

The entire weekend was spent celebrating these two and their growing family and let’s just say…it was well worth the wait!!!
